This is what the Ninja Creami was made for, a Snickers Ice-cream that is also dairy-free. A dead-simple peanut butter base: almond milk, peanut butter, a touch of sweetener — frozen solid, then spun on the Lite Ice Cream setting for a light, scoopable texture. Then comes the mix-in spin: melted dark chocolate and roasted peanuts folded straight in. And without any gum, like xanthan, or additives like inulin.
The result tastes like a Snickers bar crossed with a proper ice cream. It’s dairy-free, naturally gluten-free, and comes together in about 5 minutes of actual work. The rest is just freezer time.
Use agave syrup to keep it fully vegan, or honey if you don’t need it to be. Both work well — agave is a little more neutral, honey adds a faint floral note that’s actually lovely with peanut butter.
Which Ninja CREAMi machine is the best to get?
I bought the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe XL and I’m really happy with how creamy both the ice creams and sorbets turn out. One tub makes about 4 portions of post-dinner dessert—or 2 very generous mid-afternoon snacks. If you’re considering getting one, this is definitely the model I’d recommend (see it on Amazon here)!
